Not bad! I found the “then” chapters to be less enjoyable than the “now” ones. Perhaps at the ripe old age of almost 26 I’m finally growing out of YA narrators. All in all, I liked the settings of the past and present stories. Piper was a good character. Kyle was sort of a tool as a teenager, but as an adult I liked him.
