Last Letter from Istanbul by Lucy Foley

2.0

This book is set in Post-WWI Istanbul/Constantinople. The Turks have lost, and the city is occupied. We see Nur, and her family, cope with the influx of Allied forces, a child she cares for, and the Scottish doctor who cares for the boy when he becomes ill.

The book is fine (well written in fact), but not my thing. It's mostly a love story, with the smallest side serving of Turkish history. The thing is, I'd have liked more of the history, and less of the love story, as that isn't really my thing.
