Chekhov: Plays: The Seagull, Uncle Vanya, Three Sisters, the Cherry Orchard, and Four Vaudevilles by Anton Chekhov

dark emotional reflective sad medium-paced

2.0

Read 'The Cherry Orchard' for class. Quite a tragic end, quite sad/bitter/hollow. Although throughout the text Lopakhin did make good points about the bourgeois class and their frivolity and meaningless lives (quite a slap to the audience I reckon, but the characters were shown that way!)
