Stranger in the Moonlight by Jude Deveraux

This was pretty awful. I kept rechecking the publication date, convinced that this had to have been written in the 80s. I mean, seriously? The heroine actually said to her employee that she needed to buy rouge. Rouge? Who says that any more? Hasn't that term gone the way of cream rinse?
Also, I just cannot bring myself to believe in their feelings for each other. And she was not creeped out enough by the fact that he'd been stalking her for years.
The beginning, when they were kids, though. That was well done.
