A bit of a slow burn at first, but very atmospheric. I could not for the life of me make sense of the layout of the chalet, but the snow storm raging outside was a nice backdrop to the drama unfolding inside. I really liked Erin, but I loved Danny and their friendship.
I really liked that there was still a good chunk of the book left after you find out who the killer is and how it devoted several chapters to wrapping up the characters’ stories.
I suspected Liz might be the killer about a quarter of the way in, but I wasn’t sure if the author was intentionally misleading the reader. Ultimately, I thought the reveal was satisfying. The page where implying her death at the end was kind of iconic.
