Kentucky Christmas by Sarah Title
4 Stars
There are three thing Billie loves animals, her father and Christmas. Andrew is a guy who likes computers and has a knack for all things with a plug who is stuck in a sales job his cousin gave him after Andrew was laid off. Somehow this lover of all things Christmas and the guy who could give the Grinch a run for the title find each other a few days before Christmas.
This is a very quick read novella but you got a real sense of this small Kentucky town. I love Billie enthusiasm for Christmas as it is my favorite holiday too. Andrew had great internal dialog that made me chuckle at times. Immediate attraction can be amusing in books and it was fun that this one was laced with a bit of humor.
I did a check and this novella is a follow up to a full length book. It seems to be the start of a series; I can only hope to see a glimpse of Billie and Andrew in other Kentucky books by Sarah Title. If you want a nice easy read by your Christmas tree one night when you can’t think of addressing another Christmas card – this is the novella for you!
I received this book from the publisher via NetGalley for my honest review.
