2.0

It's a 2.5 for me. While personally, it was an enjoyable read because I've grown to love the characters, the plot fell pretty flat for me. Once Mya reunited with her family, their interactions didn't ignite many emotions in me. I also thought the decisions made by both her and her brother was very senseless. As someone who has almost died before many times, you'd think Mya would be much more careful and heed Drav's insistence of keeping safe and staying put, yet she throws out the warning and the lessons she previously learnt out the window, just so she can be an additional person on a supply trip... The introduction of the fae to humans also went a lot too seamlessly in my opinion. And the mystery/ conclusion with the 2 exiles was short and just didn't seem to fit with the overall emphasis put on them this whole series.
