And the re-read of season 8, now with reviews, is complete. And this was a bit too much. I guess I liked the complexity of the larger set of characters, though I wasn't all that happy with how they were used. Or really not used as the book went on. But readable throughout.
I kind of thought that book 7 was the last book of the series - otherwise I would have waited until this book came out to even read season 8. And now I'm confused. Season 8 aimed high but in the end crashed of its own complications. This, the ending book, was too complicated for me to enjoy.
