Wheewwww. I finished the second book in the series and I felt like this book dragged more than it should’ve, while also having an explosion of new characters that at times it was very confusing to keep up. The main character was so much more stubborn this book that i began to not like her. I wish she focused more on her powers connected to her ancestry and when we finally got those scenes, I didn’t want them to end! I’m hoping there’s more of that focus on the last book. Also, there were a LOT more unnecessary teen angst love stuff this book. Not a fan whatsoever.
