Hollowmen by Amanda Hocking
3.0
I have had this book on my kindle to read for about a year now and today I decided to give it a go. Since it was over a year since I had read the first one "Hollowland", I only remembered bits and pieces of it. I was a little lost in the beginning but I was recapped enough to figure out what was going on. I found it hard at first to get into because Remy is such a tough character but I can imagine you could get like that if you had gone through what she had. I think this one had a more adult vibe to it, it could have been fleshed out a lot more. less walking and less carrying children more of anything else??? It didn't really seem to link to the previous book. It could almost be a stand alone. But I can imagine if they are read together it would be a lot more enjoyable.
But over all a great quick zombie read.
Spoiler
All of the characters from book one are not in it or dead, which I found strange.Spoiler
I found it weird that the love interest from the first one is not in this one and spoiler alert there is a new love interest. Who I think is way better that the other guy. I kept waiting for him to show up and it be awkward... hehe..But over all a great quick zombie read.
