Let's Talk About It: The Teen's Guide to Sex, Relationships, and Being a Human by Erika Moen, Matthew Nolan

I had to read this because it's currently being challenged at my school, deemed pornography by a parent. If you simply open the book and look at the pictures (it's a graphic novel), you might be taken aback for a moment. But...if you actually take the time to read the book, you'll see that it's a wonderful and important book for teens. Yes, it talks about sex and and shows pictures of body parts, but it's the message that's most important. It tells teens, over and over and over again, that the most important thing about being in a relationship is communication, mutual respect, and consent. It reminds teens that they don't have to do anything they don't want to do, they can explore if they want to, and if you have questions, ask. A vital book for any teenager who has questions, and what teenager doesn't?
