Excellent and comprehensive exploration of this fascinating topic. The instructor helps the listener truly experience the horrors of the Black Death and details its effects on all aspects of medieval life; religious, economic, artistic, and the structure of society itself. I enjoyed the multiple references to recorded accounts from the time period and comparisons of the reactions to the Black Death in various regions and cities of Europe. A very good "course", it kept my attention, start to finish.
