The Christmas Rental by Savannah Hendricks
5.0
When you suffer from chronic migraines, life can get depressing sometimes. The pain just becomes unbearable and you start to lose the joy you get from simple things, in my case, reading. It can be a hard road to lead.
Have no fear though, that’s where authors like Savannah come in. Savannah is truly a wonderful human, she also happens to write incredible books that put smiles back on your face. She is also a dog lover and I adore her social media posts involving her dog Ransom and newest, MacGyver.
The Christmas Rental was everything I needed, wanted and more. The writing and story were perfect and after reading the first couple of chapters, I was ready to move to the sweet town of Oakvale, Minnesota (and I don’t do snow!). Lorelei and her baby daughter, Mary Anne come to Oakvale to rent her uncles home for the month of December, while also covering her uncles small doctors office. Lorelei is tired of the always busy and hectic life she leads as an emergency room physician. She sees this as a vacation but, it quickly becomes a life she desperately desires. Tyler, the town bowling alley/real estate agent is also in the same predicament. Together they work together to make those dreams become realities.
Absolutely a wonderful read. Savannah, you outdid yourself again. Thank you for this review copy, the extra little cutsies made it feel even more Christmasy and fun. Highly highly recommend this! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Grab it on October 19 for your reading pleasure. If you’re anything like me, you’ll read it fast.
