Twisted Fates by Danielle Rollins

Oh. My. GOD. what kind of an ending is that?!
How long do I have to wait for the next book? Will I be alive until then or will the suspense kill me? Aarrrggghhh.

Events moved quite swiftly in this book, with brief flashbacks to how Quinn got her reputation and the Black Cirkus because what it is. Meanwhile Ash and his friends are frantically trying to decipher the Professor's notes and figure out anything that can help. In the process of doing so, Zora uncovers a pattern that brings a devastating realisation. Quinn and Roman have troubles of their own, with the other members of the gang having little loyalty towards them, eager to switch sides given incentive.

The main narrative is interspersed with log entries of the Professor and his various experiments and conclusions with time travel. It's a mad whirl of loops within loops, everything's happening the way it is because it has already happened. What will you do next?

The final revelation did not come as a surprise to me, but I have no idea what's gonna happen next. Eagerly awaiting the conclusion!
