Meet Me at the Museum by Anne Youngson

Did not finish book.
Time of death 22%.

I was looking for light, fluffy, escapsim and this book was recommended to me. Instead it was a cleverly disguised history lesson about Iron Age life. Which is fine, just not what I am looking for at this point.

The book is written as letters back and forth between the Danish museum curator and an English farmwife. I just coudn't believe people would write such details as a spouse's childhood memories by the sea in letters to strangers, (How would he know these things?) so I think I might have liked it better if it were written as a traditional narrative.

Next.
