Captive Prince by C.S. Pacat

Review 3: This has become my standard 'has to read at least once a year' kind of series.
Review 2: I'm still pretty much feeling the same way about the first book in this series as I did in 2017. However, knowing how things will develop in the other two books, I think I might've liked reading this book more than the first time! Still, 4 stars seems sufficient.
Review 1: Okay, so I went into this book thinking it would either disgust me or I would really like it (which is what I gathered from different reviews about this book). I'm currently not feeling strongly for either option, it was a solid read that I finished sooner than any other books I've read these past months! It was only 260 pages long and the writing was pleasant. I ordered the other 2 books as well to see if I'll like the series better than I do now, but I'm definitely not dismissing liking this series for now!
This book is full of trigger warnings, so I wouldn't read this series if you're sensitive towards rape or violence in general. I must say that the beginning of this book is awful, imagery wise. But it's definitely worth it to finish this read :)
