I went into this book blind. I picked it up knowing I love TJR's writing and that I'd probably love this book. I was right, but oh boy, it not what I expected.

I doubt I'd be able to stop myself from doing that again, or stop other people. But check trigger warnings.

The reason I said that is my mother recently passed away suddenly in a car crash and I was NOT ready to have those feelings brought back up in vivid detail with this book. However, that is partly why I loved this book so much. This book really captures the deep feeling of grief when you lose a loved one, especially someone who's close to you.

But also the exciting and fast paced love that you can have when you find the right person. It made me want to cling to my partner and cover them in kisses.

Would absolutely recommend this book if you want some cathartic crying.
