Dying by the Hour by Kory M. Shrum

4.0

Looks like I'm in the minority--I liked this book better than the first book. The author has relaxed a bit, only introducing one or two new earth shattering reveals, and I was able to catch my breath and process what we've been told. The split PoV moves events forwards at a pretty decent rate, and only on occasion feels a bit ping pongy. I'm still not certain how we get five books more, at this rate of escalation, but I'm willing to hang on and find out.
