The first half of this book was so much fun to read but unfortunately it went downhill from there. I really liked Valentin and that is surprising for me since for some reason I tend to like the cold types in this series. He was warm and such a loving person. On the other hand, Silver was the cold type. I was okay with her until she changed too quickly. She gave Valentin the cold shoulder for a long time (which I'm okay with) but then she fell in love with him too quickly. As for the overall plot for this book, it didn't add anything too different to the story. I didn't feel too invested in what Silver was doing and lost my interest in the bear clan's drama halfway through. I think my main issue was that I didn't enjoy the one plot twist

it felt like the amnesia trope which I HATE

and it changed the whole book for me and after losing my interest in the characters, the plot also felt boring.

I hope I will enjoy the next book more and also, it was so lovely seeing Kaleb again. He's still my favourite. I hope we will get to see more of him in the future books.
