I absolutely loved the imagery in this book. I could almost see everything the author described. The way memories were stitched together like nonsensical dreams was amazing, I don’t think I’ve read anything quite like it. And while I’ve been lucky enough to not lose anyone close to me yet, the portrayal of grief in the book was so intense I am truly scared for the day I go through the same thing. The only downsides were I noticed a few grammar mistakes (nothing so bad I couldn’t make sense of it) that pulled me out of the story a bit, and at times Julie (main character) did or said some things that were really annoying or I just couldn’t understand (probably because of grief), but other thank that I loved the book.
