felt like a very basic feminist retelling, mostly vibes based, plot appeared to Happen to roscille rather than the other way around despite her being the engineer as the floaty prose didn’t really make her feel active or present. i didn’t Not enjoy this, but ava reid’s other books are definitely stronger.
