While I really enjoyed the writing style and general plot, I felt the resolution was so incredibly rushed. The relationships at the end felt shallow and neglected when compared to the depth with which the parent-child relationships were explored. Overall, I ended the book feeling extremely underwhelmed and dissatisfied by the last third of this novel.
