The Moonlit Garden by Corina Bomann

I decided to give this book a 4 star rating based solely on the plot. I'm a musician and the prospect of a mystery violin was very intriguing.

My problem with the book lies in the present-day relationships between Lilly, Gabriel, and Ellen. I felt the dialogue sometimes felt forced and corny. I have a problem with unrealistic love stories. The writing was at some points, cheesy and cliche.

The best part of he novel was set in 1902 with Rose Gallaway. The author did a great job with portraying the exotic place she lived and the life style of a musician.

The book is worth a read for a free book, but I would have been slightly disappointed had I payed for it.
