Muah! to Lucy Clarke :) This story was so eloquently written. Mrs. Clarke takes you on a wonderful journey about a tale of four BFF's doing their yearly vacation trip. Things go sour on the hike and that is where the story begins. This book I would describe as a drama with some suspense, not so much a thriller. Mrs. Clarke does a superb job of connecting you with each character, Joni, Maggie, Liz, and Helena are so well flushed out. I was drawn into each character and their story and background.

The plot and storyline was well developed and I was a little concerned about that due to the length of the book, most authors lose me if the book is too long, however Mrs. Clarke had me thirsty down to the very last page. The ending of the book was memorizing and the cherry on top!

This was a wonderful read and to my suprise I enjoyed it very much!
