Animal Farm by George Orwell

5.0

Fairly sure I actually read this in high school. I was supposed to but couldn't remember if I just participated in class discussions while skimming. I am reading through a list of banned/ challenged books, and I decided to listen to the book. It was as I recalled. Orwell warns governments and the people through his allegory Animal Farm. While this story is much shorter and the behavior is much more overt, it is clear that the people can often be betrayed and duped by ill-meaning officials who "have our best interests at heart." We are all equal, or are some of us more equal than others?
