Emma by Jane Austen

Did not finish book. Stopped at 79%.

I love Jane Austen but this was hard to get through with the long unnecessary dialogues and descriptions. It go too exasperating so I skipped and read the summary lol. I would have finished it but then I read that

Emma and Mr.Knightley get together. While it does make sense and I did catch a hint, the age gap really threw me off. And if the 19 year old age gap wasnt bad enough Mr.Knightley apparently admits that he was in love with her since she was 13 which would have made him 29 at the time.

This kind off turned me off from finishing the book.
