Though the story is great, the multiple povs was just difficult to grasp but it looks like a influence of huge pressure from a big fandom

Xan was great though too mature for age. Tristan and Morana were just perfect.

Lyla charcter arc was good, but the dynamics between xan and her were not that great given the kid was the reason she kept herself alive.

The kid stays with Tristan and Morana which was somewhat acceptable but they had the kid for just a year, so could have given the legal custody to the mother.. so that was off
the birthday party night, they collectively are hrny and there was a btb s#x scenes among the couples which was weird and it felt like filler only....

there was no story. Just after math of Lyla's return.

reunion though rookie circumstances, the emotions were greatly detailed and it was satisfying to read

Dain was star of the show as usual. He's my favourite character in Dv series. But could have lessened some weird dialogues for him.

And the syndicator. Who was he(unknown), deets of the secret experiments was just rushed and his end was abrupt since it was carried over in 5 books.

Disappointing ofcourse.👎🤕😷

Could have been better given the wait and anticipation.
