My favorite Virgil Flowers installment, bare none. Great primary story with a fun back story that gives that comic relief I've come to expect from these books. The school board gang was wonderfully entertaining as I'm a retired educator who can envision such corrupt activities from those given a little power and enough money to make a "regular" person do the unthinkable.
Thoroughly enjoy Frankie's continuing presence. She is the perfect foil to this womanizing chick magnet. I'm looking forward to seeing more of her, so don't let me down Mr. Sandford.
I've read all of this authors books and Virgil has become as interesting protagonist as Lucas Davenport, my hero. This was an excellent read.
