Ok, this was brilliant and fantastic and not quite what I expected! It’s middle grade but you could have fooled me. I didn’t feel talked down to. What a fun mystery and cast of characters. Very creative! This is the kind of creativity I want to see from fantasy authors!!! I would feel good about recommending this to almost anyone.
