Hardcore Zen: Punk Rock, Monster Movies and the Truth about Reality by Brad Warner

5.0

My rating was a 3 up to halfway, then he got down to the real stuff and it went quickly up to a 4, then jumped to a 5, and I am still thinking about the implications several days later. The author has a way of describing truths that brings his subject into focus and makes it into a reality where, before, only vague notions existed. (Though at the time, you had no idea they were vague). I find his descriptions of "self" particularly enlightening. There are ideas in here to live by.
