Did not finish book. Stopped at 26%.
• The tone of the book is rather pretentious and makes it hard to care about anyone or anything.
• The whole "you have to want to live to die" and "you have to want to die to live" things feels like it trivialises suicidal thoughts and suicide to a point where it becomes mocking.
• The omniscient narrator is just annoying, it goes off topic, rambles. It's incoherent at best.
• The narrator lingers on unconnected things such as obesity and diabetes while also making harmful broad statements about both.
