The Hobbit by J.R.R. Tolkien

One of my favourite books ever (I've read this one more than 5 times, enough said). The plot is enchanting, full of adventure and magic. The characters are lovable, but not perfect and so more realistic (if that's possible for a hobbit and his dawrf friends). The story is mostly fast paced, with less hidden meanings and more focus on the action. I'm not an expert in literature, so I will say one thing as a reader who just enjoyed this one: this book can be read by a kid and by an adult and still bring up the same emotions. So, it deserves 5 out of 5 stars!!
