I really liked both sisters in this story, they felt real and the story definitely kept me interested. I wanted to know what happened, one twist I didn’t see coming until right as it was about to happen and the other I called quite awhile before the reveal but I don’t necessarily see that as a negative.
My biggest compliant is that I kept having to read things over and over, like I enjoyed reading from both sister’s experiences of what happened but too much was repeated. I didn’t want to read the whole scene twice - it could’ve been shortened. And some of the details about like Samantha’s house and cat and swimming routine could’ve been left out as it was repeated too and made me want to skim it instead of read it.
I really liked Ben’s character and even Rusty was entertaining and the complicated but loving relationship between the family seemed real.
