This is a new to me author. Even though this isn't the first book in the series, I was not lost. In fact, it just made me want to go back and read the other books.
I started with this book because I was intrigued about Dina . I liked the idea of a character that was "different." I was skeptical that the author could do her justice. I was wrong. Dina was delightful. I found myself enjoying her take on real life situations. I, also, loved Heavy and how he interacted with her. Together, these two had me invested from the beginning to the end. The story was great, and there were great secondary characters.
