The movie adaption of this book is pretty spot on, however there are just some details from the book that are not mentioned in the movie such as Gordie’s relationship with his brother and how his death really affected him or Chris’s character development towards the end which I felt was nice to read in the book.
Minor: Racial slurs
One of the characters Teddy has a rather foul mouth - the time set in this book seems to take place after a war so there is some mentions of prejudice.
