After Dracula being a massive let down I was not expecting to enjoy this book but wow it was really good!
The first 40 ish pages were quite slow and towards the end of the book there was a bit of a lull too where there was lots of description, albeit it lovely description, which was a bit unnecessary. But overall it had good pacing I always wanted to know what was going to happen next and when I actually sat down to read it it only took a couple of days.
I definitely recommend especially as I actually didn't know the story of Frankenstein, like at all lol. There was definitely some suprises and there was quite a few actually likeable characters which there isn't always in classics
