I enjoyed reading this. The premise is intriguing and I thought that the plot was gripping; and CoHo definitely knows how to write unlikeable characters. However, the prose was a little too simplistic, the sex scenes were cringey (although that may have been somewhat deliberate…) and the ending, although I like that it was left ambiguous, felt a bit abrupt.
Graphic: Child abuse, Murder, Child death, Car accident, Abortion, Death, and Suicide attempt
Moderate: Vomit, Cancer, Blood, and Ableism
