What the fuck. What the actual fuck. June Hayward is one of the hard protagonists i've ever had the displeasure of being in the head of- what a fucking cunt (positive). I love an unlikeable protagonist but fuck me there is something so awfully real about June, people like her genuinely exist. Just, bleh. The fact her big final stand comes from the fact she feels persecuted for being white says it all really.

Can't say much about the publishing stuff because I don't work in the industry but jesus christ. Also everyone says this is funny but I didn't laugh at all 😭😭 still great (better than Babel but you didn't hear that from me.)
