Mason died but in the next book we see him so...its not goodbye yet.
Janine Hathaway is one of my favorite characters. I wish we could've gotten more background with her but alas, here we are

Rose kinds sucks (ahaha get it) as a person. She leads on Mason, ya know her best male friend. She does that for a while. She did it because she liked her teacher (that's a whole other problem don't even get me started).Mason died but in the next book we see him so...its not goodbye yet.
