Did not finish book. Stopped at 60%.
The story and characters felt very flat. Some authors can make you feel involved in the story, but everyone on the page felt like paper dolls. The writing was so passive that I wondered if it had been poorly translated into English.
I could guess what was going to happen, which in itself isn't a bad thing, but nothing about the writing style convinced me to continue reading. I finally read some of the other reviews. Between being introduced to a specific character in a certain way that was already turning me off and reading that there is a sexual assault later in the book, I decided this book was not for me.
