The 48 Laws of Power by Robert Greene

4.0

I’ve read a lot of negative things about this book but honestly it taught me a lot about myself and other people.

It took me FOREVER to finish because there is just so much information and you really have to focus on what you are reading for it to sink in.

That said, I found the book incredibly insightful and would definitely recommend it to anyone who is curious about the psychology of power.

My favourite parts where the applied examples in history where the laws were observed and transgressed but the interpretations also provided interesting insight and explications.

My only gripe with this book is that it did get a little repetitive in places which was annoying because the book was already so full of information.

All in all a very interesting read! I’d like to read more of Robert Greene’s work, specifically his book on seduction.
