This book is a well-written introduction to a lot of witchy topics, written from a personal perspective. The information provided leans heavily towards a Wiccan tradition, so those who are looking for something more eclectic or rooted outside of that tradition may only find this book of minimal use. There are good correspondences, though. It’s definitely not an in-depth reference book by any means, and shouldn’t be used as a historical reference either (the citations and source materials are a bit questionable), but as an introductory guide to concepts, ideas, and practices in herbal witchcraft and Wicca, this is a good choice.
