The Search for the Green River Killer by Carlton Smith

4.0

3.5 Stars.
A really interesting one, especially as this book was first written before they had even caught Ridgway. The additions at the end were great, especially the one just after he was arrested but before he had been confirmed as the killer.
The Green River killings were just so brutal, and the fact that they went on during such a serial killer peak in America - Bundy had not long been put in jail and even gets involved with the investigation! This book and case are great reminders about how we look at sex workers and how much we think they are worth, and it is heartbreaking, also the politics involved in a case like this and how it can hinder everything.
A really good look at the Green River case, and there are some very useful maps here too.
