Cravings by Eileen Wilks, Rebecca York, MaryJanice Davidson, Laurell K. Hamilton
4.0
This is a repeat from what is already in one book. It is when Anita is Larry's wedding and what happens between at the wedding and in the parking lot after. So if you read the Anita Blake series, you don't need to be picking this up, but I did like 2 other stories in it. There are 3 more stories by Mary Janice Davidson, Eileen Wilks, Rebecca York. I am finding I am not a fan of Mary Janice Davidson and that is because both short stories I have read by her - the men were not so smart men. I want a smart man so reading about an intelligent woman being with someone who isn't intelligent tends make me lose interest. But I really enjoyed the stories by Elieen Wilks and Rebecca York. These book are made to get you interested in other authors and this time it really did as I am putting on my to-read list books by both those authors.
Eileen Wilks' story is about a woman named Molly, who is a succubus and this is a little short story in a larger series. A man lands at Molly's feet that isn't entirely human with wounds on him. She takes him to her place to help him. And then their story begins trying to figure out how he got there as he can't remember many things about where he is from, who he is or why he came there.
Rebecca York's story is about a werewolf and a blind woman that reads tarot and has different kind of sight. Grant Marshall is a werewolf and searching for his wife's murder. He lands in small town at a Bed and Breakfast of a woman who is blind and does tarot readings. Their stories are told while trying to find the man that murdered Grant's wife. It is a short story based on a series by Rebecca York
