Kingsbane by Claire Legrand

Did not finish book. Stopped at 25%.

I had a really hard time getting through book 1. The writing is beautiful, but the story is long-winded and kind of boring. The characters have similar sounding names and the 2 POVs have a lot of similarities and parallels. I was frequently confused as to which character's POV I was following. I DNF'd at 25% because I was absolutely dreading reading this book every day. Just not for me right now.
