The description of the audiobook advertised Winnie the Pooh meets Blair Witch.

This is neither of those things.

What I got was a sadistic remix of Lord of the Flies. The morals and commentary ripped out only to be replaced with a thumping of violence, stupidity and the feeling it's saying more than it actually is.

The ending of the book is quite possibly worth the read/listen because it just veers left enough to be surprising.

This book also contains some of the STUPIDEST adults I've ever experienced in a book. Maybe the book was trying to say adults aren't that different from children when faced with horrible situations. However, this goes beyond just adults making mistakes. They were just dumb.
