for a thriller this is 90% romance. the mystery was stupid, the character's motives were ridiculous, the 'secret' that the protagonist is keeping from her friends is literally nothing. this was an okay read but i wouldnt waste my time considering the end was so bad and the whole thing lacked any sort of tension or thrill. only read this because im trying to get through my kindle library but im disappointed considering i liked stephanie perkins other books when i was like 15.
