I just want to make my own decisions. I just want to feel like I’m in control of my own life.
my jaw is on the ground, tears are in my eyes and my mouth is DRY! the last 10~ pages of this book had me gagged. all of the last book and this one you’re just wondering “wtaf did he do that could’ve been THAT bad” and HOHOHOHOHOH BOY!!!
but besides that this book was incredibly fun! like laugh out loud funny. the dialogue between our main trio is fucking amazing! so many good highlights.
“Stand here, linebacker.”
Harry shrugged.
Sluuuuuuurp.
Gideon was glaring at Harry with a withering stare.
“Must you be so irritating all the time?”
“Yeah.” Slurrrrrp. “I do.”
maggie as a main character is a fucking treat. she’s impulsive in all the best ways. like she’s not stupid, but she definitely acts first then asks questions later and it’s GREAT! trust me. ends up with the guys getting punched in the face more than once. i’m also thoroughly enjoying her journey of learning about her past and also just realizing what SHE wants in this life. it’s really great. i’m excited to see where she ends up and what other revelations we’ll find out.
gideon you are in TROUBLE!
