The Financial Diet: A Total Beginner's Guide to Getting Good with Money by Chelsea Fagan, Lauren Ver Hage

1.0

I'm not sure what made me pick this book up in then first place, but I can't think of a single thing I got out of it. Maybe that's in part because it took me so long to finish. It felt cobbled together. An idea would be introduced and then almost immediately we'd learn about a person that tangentially related to that idea. Then we'd get a bit from them that felt like it was cut and pasted from an email. Followed by a quote from that interview and a summation. There's a difference between direct honesty and meanness...and this book falls into the latter category with its advice and anecdotes.
