I love the changes in storytelling in each book — book one is told through objects, book two is told as a campfire story (basically), three is told as a conglomerate mess of stories that end up being interconnected, four is more of a story about the abbey itself (with a tiny bit of actual storytelling at the end).

This one had such different storytelling from the first two books, and I’ll be honest, I wasn’t sure I was going to like it in the first half, but they got me in the final act.
